Introduction
Trade exhibitions can be hard to remember. Stalls blur together, brochures pile up, and visitors leave with few lasting impressions. At the CIPM National HR Exhibition 2026, held on 14 and 15 October at Monarch Imperial, Sri Jayewardenepura, Gallery HR took a different approach. At Stall No. 15, it invited HR professionals to play instead of just listening to a pitch. Its answer was Flip & Match, an interactive memory game that turned learning about HR technology into a friendly competition.

The CIPM National HR Exhibition 2026
The exhibition brought together HR practitioners, business leaders, and solution providers from across Sri Lanka. For two days, the venue was filled with delegates moving between stalls to discover new tools, ideas, and partnerships in people management. For a platform built for Sri Lankan businesses, it was an ideal setting to meet the HR community face to face.

The Concept: Learning Through Play
Flip & Match was built around a simple idea: HR professionals remember a platform better when they discover it themselves. The game ran on a large touchscreen at the stall, powered by SoftGallery. Visitors flipped tiles to find matching pairs, and each pair revealed one of Gallery HR’s 18 HR features, with a countdown timer and a move counter adding pressure. Tiles surfaced capabilities such as Payroll, Onboarding, Survey Management, E-Signature, Learning & Development, Workforce Planning, Advanced Analytics, and Reports. Under the banner “Play. Learn. Explore. Grow.”, a product walkthrough became a game.

The Atmosphere at Stall No. 15
The stall drew a steady crowd throughout the event. Visitors in business suits and sarees stepped up to the screen, tapped tiles, and compared results. One player cleared 15 of the 18 pairs within the two-minute limit, while another managed 7, which only encouraged friendly rematches. Around the screen, the Gallery HR team chatted with delegates, answered questions, and handed out brochures. The stall’s backdrop highlighted the Nexa AI Assistant, the Gallery HR REST API, and the theme of smarter HR management. Gallery HR’s raccoon mascot greeted guests, and a QR code let visitors learn more or refer a business.

Rewards That Kept the Energy High
The game also came with real prizes. The top two winners received a dinner buffet for two at a five-star hotel, the next four won restaurant vouchers, and the following fifty took home gift packs. Every participant who matched 10 pairs also received a Gallery HR branded pen, so everyone left a winner.

Why It Matters
Beyond the fun, Flip & Match reflects how Gallery HR sees its role in Sri Lanka’s HR community. An HR platform is only valuable when people understand and trust it, and hands-on engagement builds that familiarity far faster than a slide deck. Playing in a relaxed setting also opened up conversations about real HR challenges, from payroll accuracy to onboarding and workforce analytics.
Conclusion
The CIPM National HR Exhibition 2026 gathered the professionals shaping the future of people management in Sri Lanka, and Gallery HR’s Flip & Match game gave them a lively way to engage with that future. By combining technology, creativity, and a bit of healthy competition, the team made Stall No. 15 one of the more memorable stops on the floor. Can you match all 18?
