Things people ask before they refer

Who can refer a business?

Anyone. Existing Gallery HR customers, partners, consultants, HR practitioners, employees of companies that use Gallery HR — anyone who knows a business that would benefit from the platform can submit a referral.

How is the reward calculated if the company size changes between referral and signing?

Headcount is locked at the moment the referred business signs the contract with Gallery HR. If their team grows or shrinks between your referral and the signed contract, the reward tier reflects the headcount at signing — not at referral.

What if I refer a business that's already talking to your sales team?

The referral programme only applies to businesses that are new to Gallery HR and not already in active conversations with our sales team. We check on receipt of every referral. If the business is already in our pipeline, we will let you know within a few business days.

When do I actually get paid?

Both the referrer reward and the client reward are paid within 30 days of two conditions being met: (1) the referred business activates on Gallery HR, and (2) their first invoice payment is received by us.

How is the reward paid out?

By bank transfer to a Sri Lankan bank account. We will collect bank details from you separately once your referral converts. International payouts may be available for non-Sri Lankan referrers — contact us to discuss.

Is there a limit to how many referrals I can submit?

No. Refer as many businesses as you like. Each successful referral earns the full reward for the relevant tier.

What happens if the business I referred goes with a different tier package?

The reward tier is based on the referred company's headcount, not on which Gallery HR package they choose. If they have 200 employees but choose a smaller-than-typical package, you still receive the LKR 40,000 tier reward.

How will I know what's happening with my referral?

You'll get a confirmation email when we receive your referral. We will keep you updated as it moves through demo, proposal, contract and activation. Once payment is due, we will reach out to collect your bank details.
